New Social Security Powers: Sure Start Maternity Grants & Funeral Payments

The Scottish Government’s Social Security Policy and Delivery Division (SSPDD) would like to invite you to an event to discuss the devolution to Scotland of the Regulated Social Fund's Sure Start Maternity Grant and Funeral Payments.

Purpose of the events

• To feedback on the progress made so far.
• To take stakeholder views on options identified so far and to identify any further options.

The day will be split into two with the morning focusing on the Sure Start Maternity Grant, and the afternoon session will focus on Funeral Payments. Each sessions will include presentations, a Q&A and table discussions. Lunch will be served between the sessions.

Guests are welcome to one or both of the sessions, though places are limited so please RSVP early to avoid disappointment. Please feel free to forward this invitation on to your own stakeholders.
